8020 Consulting Gets Involved with Operation Gratitude

On August 24th, 8020 Consulting came together and volunteered their time with Operation Gratitude. Every year, Operation Gratitude sends 300,000+ care packages to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen deployed overseas. In addition to stuffing care packages for troops overseas, volunteers assembled “Survival” bracelets, stuffed Battalion Teddy bears for children of the deployed, prepared Recruit Graduate Medallion Kits and screened and wrote letters. It was a great way to bond with our colleagues in a different setting and even more importantly,  it was a great way to give back to our service men and women.

M&A Due Diligence & Transaction Support

Types of Due Diligence and What to Expect from the Process

Many mergers and acquisitions (M&A) deals in the 1980s were transacted without much emphasis placed on due diligence. The result? Too many less than ideal outcomes for acquirors caused by post-M&A issues such as cultural mismatches, unexpected legal complications, overly optimistic pre-sale performance forecasts and unrealistic valuations.
